L5R players rejoyce, but do not hold your breath for a card just yet. This was a private commission for a very nice player who wanted a little something special for her hubby. Although it's available for L5R if you want it, AEG. ;)

Why is it that most of the tainted ladies Steve gets his hands on turn out to be quite hotter than average girls? Not that I'm complaining.... ;)

Excellent! We've been waiting for this to post. Due to the darkness of the piece, it's a little hard to see the detail of the work in the online version, but the painting has a lot of depth as an actual print. What really makes the picture are the brilliant details he created for the character. Yori was from a recent L5R RPG game; in this incarnation, she's a former Scorpion courtier turned Spider samurai-ko -- hence the Spider-tattooed hand mimicking a Scorpion's mask, and the scorpion-tailed sword at the lower right.
Steve did an amazing job with this commission -- all I did was send a brief description of the character and her personality, and he came up with a picture so perfect it's eerie. He's insanely busy, but if you've got some time, it's well worth the wait. :D
